UV-Jagt, Undervandsjagt den yperste form for dykning

Undervandsjagt dyrkes uden hjælp fra kundstige hjælpemidler, det vil sige hverken luftflasker eller undervandscotere et tilladt
under udøvelsen af undervandsjagt. Undervandsjagt udføres ofte med harpuner, disse skal kunne lades af jægeren uden hjælpemidler som'
taljer osv. dette betyder at CO2 harpuner, dekanterings harpuner ikke er accepterede til undervandsjagt - det er kun styrken
af dykkeren der afgør om han kan lade harpunen eller ej. Til undervandsjagt benytter man altid en enkeltspids, eller fork til specielle arter.
I Danmark benytter man kun enkeltspids pga. lovgivningen.

Spearfishing is done without any artificial breathing mekanism or propulseion, this means that no diving tanks, rebreaters, uw-scotters are allowed during spearfishing - Spearfishing is the man/woman against the fish or if in bad luck the sharks...
Spearfishing is done with a speargun either driven by rubbers or compressed air, the speargun must be loadable by the spearfishers
own strenght, no mekanism for easy loading may apply, no decantating compressed air to the gun is alowed, no CO2 driven guns is allowed
- just the strenght of the diver does allow the diver to load a speargun or not...
Spearfishing uses a single point spear with either one or more barbs depending on the fish.
